Privacy
All personal, financial, and account
details forwarded to the Australian Egalitarian Movement are
regarded as strictly confidential. Such information will not be sold,
re-used, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed to a third party,
unless written permission has been obtained by the individual who
supplied the information, or unless required to by law. Further, the
Australian Egalitarian Movement destroys your credit card
details, and any other account details, 6 months after transactions has been
completed.
Incriminating and other information
or confessions about one's self or about other people, which is offered by individuals during discussions
and negotiations with
committee members or the Guardian member of the Australian Egalitarian
Movement are regarded as strictly confidential. Such information will not be sold,
re-used, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed to a third party,
unless written permission has been obtained by the individual who
supplied the information.
Your name, personal details, and address details, including your
email address, will not be used by the Australian Egalitarian
Movement for any purpose other than the reasons they were
provided by you, such as to respond to queries, provide members
with notification of general meetings and other activities of the
association, and to inform members about new or existing services
provided by the Australian Egalitarian
Movement. Address details will not be added to any automated
mailing lists, unless the written consent of the person providing such
details is received by the Australian Egalitarian
Movement.
As set out in the Rules of the
association, members who wish to be elected to the management committee
need to be nominated by 5 other members or the guardian member. As
members names and details are confidential, it is very difficult for
members to gain nominations from 5 other members. As such, members can
choose to make their names and addresses available to other members
for this purpose. Otherwise, the management committee will inform all
voting members that a particular member is applying to be nominated to
the management committee, and other members can choose to make contact
with this member if they wish.
Any written or email correspondence
sent to the Australian Egalitarian
Movement will be regarded as strictly confidential and
securely retained by the Australian Egalitarian
Movement. Only with the consent of the person who sent
the correspondence will the material be posted on this, or any other
website, or any other publication produced by the Australian Egalitarian
Movement or any third party.
Our Internet Service Provider (ISP) may
monitor email traffic for statistics, troubleshooting, and maintenance purposes

At present, this site does not provide facilities
for securely transmitting information, such as emails, across the
